Before your photo shoot:
You are ready to dive in and have your pictures taken, rather it be for a special moment, a memory, a portfolio, profile picture, or whatever your reason, there are a few things to know to help you prepare for the best quality photos!
You are ready to dive in and have your pictures taken, rather it be for a special moment, a memory, a portfolio, profile picture, or whatever your reason, there are a few things to know to help you prepare for the best quality photos!
- What will you wear?: Preparing ahead of time and knowing exactly what you want to wear for your shoot will save you and the photographer valuable time. If you are doing multiple shots, it is highly recommended that you have your outfits saved for quick and easy transfers from one to the next.
- Expressions: Many of the newer mesh heads allow for different facial expressions. Do you want a serious face? Smile? Silly? Think ahead on how you want your photos to look!
- Scenery: What kind of background do you want for your photos? Do you want a studio photo with a backdrop or do you want to go somewhere off studio for your photos? Perhaps you got a new house and want to stand on the porch with your family? Think about these kinds of things before your shoot so both you and the photographer can be prepared!
- Time: Creating our art takes time. We will not simply bring you in, snap a photo and say done. We will do a series of photos, playing with different lighting, shadows, etc so that when we go to work on creating your masterpiece, we have lots of photos to choose from and work with to give you the best we can. If we are doing a simple profile pic, head shot etc, plan on at least 20-30 mins. If you are wanting a series of photos or if there are multiple people in your group, plan on at least an hour or longer depending on what we are doing.
